In Nigeria today , with all the corporate business organisations,declaring  tremendous profits and portraying a general sense of well being in the Nigerian middle class  , shouldn't there be  a day to day means of adding  value to the society  or taking up social responsibility/causes thus meeting the needs of under privileged in Nigeria . There really is hunger, neglect, poor medical and educational opportunities for the Nigerian; child. please also note that we acknowledge the efforts of Chevron Nigeria Oil company  reconstructing  building for a the children at ETI-OSA local Government area and Acacia Publishing  the publishers of www.nigeriandirectory.net   giving  50% of their income to support charities providing for orphanages, feeding the poor, urban/grassroots healthcare and education of  underprivileged children in Lagos State 

Welfare, Poverty alleviation and education are more important than Global warming for both Corporate entitles and individuals should necessarily have a social responsibility to deal with these issues. Comment ?
